This is a multi-family residential development in Oneonta, Alabama which provides government assistance housing for agricultural workers. It was partially-funded through the US Department of Agriculture's Rural Development agency.

Alabama Non-Profit Housing, Inc.
Alabama Non-Profit Housing recognized a need for more affordable housing for farmworkers in Russellville, Alabama and, with the architectural support of Aho Architects, has been awarded grant and loan funds by the US Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program for Farmworker Housing. Aho Architects has worked alongside the Owner to gain community support for the project through several meetings with the Russellville City Council and presentations to the Russellville Planning and Zoning Board and the public.
The project, still in the development phase, consists of (20) 1-story duplex units and a Community Building / Management Office. The Rosewood Gardens community is to be certified by the US Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes Program at a Silver Certification Level.
Scope of Work:
(20) 1-story, direct-access duplex units and an 800 sf Community Building / Management Office.
