Aho Architects has designed Worship spaces, Christian
Education facilities, Fellowship/Christian Life centers, Youth/Activity
facilities, and Master plans for religious clients. We have designed "starter churches" for new
congregations, as well as comprehensive new buildings, additions, renovations
for established congregations.
Aho Architects has served governmental clients at local, state, and federal levels. Representative project types include utilities, city halls and similar municipal offices/facilities, justice facilities (courts, corrections, etc.), police/fire/dispatch, and a variety of other public facilities (libraries, museums, parks).
Sometimes a unique, meaningful, or particularly interesting
project comes along which doesn't exactly fit in one of the markets we
typically serve. Many times, our core
competencies apply to these projects too, and sometimes we get to learn
Aho Architects is expanding our presence in the multi-family housing market, with a strategic focus on affordable housing. We view our work in housing as an opportunity to serve individuals, families, and communities by meeting one’s basic need for shelter while at the same time providing a sense of place.
